Ethiopia’s two-year conflict displaced millions of people and resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths. Leveraging education as a “life-sustaining” activity and adopting trauma informed practices, USAID’s READ II Education Recovery Activity pivoted to support students’ and educators’ healing process.
